The UK Elite Orienteering League invites you to the most exciting weekend of the British season.
On Saturday 25th April we bring you the first Knock-Out Sprint in the country. The streets of Nottingham are the venue for a qualifier, two head-to-head rounds featuring runners-choice, finishing with a grand final. Sunday 26th April will see a seeded sprint on a brand new map in Daventry followed by a sprint relay on a rarely-used section of University of Warwick near Coventry. The Midland Sprint Meet was conceived to help elites prepare for international sprint races but the Nottingham Knock-Out and Daventry Open are open to all and will score points in the UK Elite League. The team composition and openness of the Coventry Sprint Relay will depend on demand but it will be a bare bones event. Please register your interest using the form below and we will let you know when permissions are confirmed and entries are open. BREAKING: Nottingham Knock-Out entries are open - see links on Saturday page. |
